Share something interesting about you.

I love going to concerts (and looking forward to the day we can again!) and have been to well over 25 concerts in the span of a few years. It is one of my favorite things to do, especially with friends.

What is your teaching philosophy?

My ultimate goal is to better prepare each student to be successful lifelong learners while fostering an effective and equitable learning environment where students and parents are respected and welcomed. My approach to achieving this goal is trifold. First, students will learn about diversity through their academic content. Second, foster cooperative learning that starts by assuming that each student has a unique perspective and contribution. Third, use technology tools as an avenue to meet students’ individual learning needs while developing 21st-century skills.

What makes working at Ravensworth so great?

I feel at home here. Everyone is so helpful, welcoming, and kind. It is a pleasure working in a close-knit, respectful community.
